Seat Brackets again!?!!

Hi to fellow Evom members,

I've been trying to figure out how to lower my seat for a while now and was one of the first ones that started the thread back in the day. I know there are a couple of members on here that build their own lowering brackets. I also know that some japanese companies make the lowering brackets for the stock Recaros too.
So before you guys tell me to 'Search' and such, I already looked.

Originally I was looking to lower my Recaros, but couldn't get away from the awesome support feel of my old racing seat. So last week I went and bought a Sparco Evo seat. I thought my quest for lowering my sitting position was over!!
But......turns out with the Sparco seat bracket, Sparco slider, Sparco side mount brackets and the seat....It sits the same or slightly higher than the stock Recaros! (Due to the upright back position of the racing seat)
Now for the help part. From the racing guys and other members on here, what is the best way of making the Sparco seat lower?
I ordered the RMR seat bracket again after I gave away my first one trying to lower my stock Recaros the first time etc.....(Stupid on my part)
Do you guys think that not using the slider will lower the seat? but will I be able to adjust the position to my liking when the side mounts only got 2 holes on the bottom?
Sorry for the long post but I'm frustrated with the seat situation for a while now and after spending close to 1k for the seat and the parts/labor it's getting to me.

Any help from you guys will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hmm, I'll talk to Mike about that. He has my car at his shop, and I wouldn't mind having my Recaros lowered, too.

He should be able to easily create a bracket that fits the OEM Recaro sliders, all he has to do is take a measurement off your seats and adust the width of the bracket accordingly. My brackets already use the OEM seat belt receptacles, so all the pieces are in place to build you brackets for your Recaros.
