Connector? What for?

Connector? What for?

I found this connector in my car. Anybody knows what is for?






maybe was before connected boost controller? two wires comes from engine bay

At first Ithough the OBDII, but then I looked at it closer and dude thats not a factory connector. Possibly part of an alarm system or something. Follow the wires.

Definitely not factory. I'd vote for an alarm the way it seems tapped to other wires. Actually if you could figure out what wires it is tapped to that would help a ton. I also see that grey fat wire and the relay, that would be interesting to know what that is.. doesn't look at all like a factory wire either.

this Grey cable is connected to the relay and connector and goes to the center console (but not connected to anything). Also to that connector cames two wires from engine bay (which are also disconnected in engine bay). On teh connector and relay there is also positive and negative wire.

I think that boost controller could be wired to that connector, but I didn't see any one yet, so I don't know...

I will try to removw these wires and connector and the I will see the result

Looks like one of those anti-theft keys that dealerships sell. Sometimes they put them in all of their cars before they are sold. Then if you don't buy it, they take out the brain and leave the relay and plug.

+1, mine has one installed and it looks almost just like that.
