i recently hit an aluminum post on the highway to avoid an accident because a truck lost some stuff off the back but anyhow i bent my intercooler watersprayer nozzle (one of the two on the front bumper) and now my wastegate (i think) lets all the boost off around 4000 to 5500 RPM's when i drive my evo hard causing it to be much slower than it should. is this my ecu telling my wastegate not to let it boost too high to aviod excess heat damage? thanks

Get that **** looked at. I damn sure the ECU isn't limiting you based on a busted washer sprayer...

yea i had it looked at by Fox in Grand Rapids cuz Harold Ziegler in Kazoo sucks. I have to drive an hour there and back and Fox seems to have troubles communicating with me about my evos problems sometimes.

 

You should take it to the shop for the tech to check it out...

You probably knocked a hole in your intercooler. You might want to make an insurance claim.

 

I agree with Shape GSX.... At the very least, the accident broke more than just the IC sprayer...

Have you checked the IC tubing to make sure nne of the plumbing was affected by you little incident?

no but i did bend my ic and crack it alittle bit, but my car was doing the same thing before the accident so i took it in and they said that my ic water resevoir was unplugged and that there was no water spraying out of the ic sprayer which leaves me to believe that the busted nozzle not spraying could be causing the problem and the crack in the ic could just equal a lost of boost becasue my gauge only reaches a peak boost of 16 psi

 

its in the shop right now but Fox is having trouble removing my front bumper!!! hell i dunno

 

The deactivation of the water sprayer will not cause any problems.
