People that know how to mod there evo there right way search and talk to shops that build evos not look at what other people have to copy there setup.
Thats saying i went to ams to copy there drag car so i can build my 42R after that one.
I wish my bov would sound like this, http://youtube.com/watch?v=lZG0RS3mVBc
who? who are you talking to about owning a STR-4?
I have been talking to numerous people about their BOVs. i just want a very loud BOV one that scares people when i shift cuz its so loud. i have two BOVs right now i have an in town BOV and a Track BOV.
My in town BOV is the Forge RS BOV i love the sound but it has a flutter problem at low boost.
My Track BOV is the Stock Evolution 9 BOV (the metal one), it holds boost great but is super quiet and cant hear it.
See i like the way the vent to air BOVs sound but was told that an Evo cant go to a Vent to Air BOV unless you modify your engine correctly otherwise you will bog down, lose power and/or throw codes for the SES light. So i have been sticking to the recirculating BOVs. I heard this clip on www.blowoffvalves.com, it is the GReddy Type S on a skyline... I love that BOV but i had someone tell me that it doesnt sound near as loud on an Evo.
