Power comparison...Vishnu Stage Zero EVO vs. STI(stock)
Power comparison...Vishnu Stage Zero EVO vs. STI(stock)
We all know that the STI has the edge on a quarter mile race or freeway battle(not recommended) over the EVO. Besides that, the STI will just be following the trail of an EVO.
Shiv at Vishnuperformance dynoed a stock STI which puts out around 220-230whp and a Stage Zero EVO dynoed at around 210-215whp. That being said, the STI still puts out more power than a stage zero EVO. Besides the actual numbers, would the Stage Zero EVO beat a stock STI or will an EVO just be even with the STI?
Anyone with SHIV's stage zero out there please reply if you have any input to my question.

I don't understand why people who bought shiv's kit don't even 1/4mi test them
I mean dynoing is cool for tunning but we need to know if we are making more useable power. I feel all of us should go take a baseline at the 1/4mi track to see how fast their car is and how much improvement xede will add? Most afc ppl track their cars and we have no one from shiv's setup?
Com'on most of us evo owners love to track, meaning we'll race in cone, twisty, or on the straights
For now i'm going to keep my warrentee but I am curious who's setup takes the gold in consistency, drivability, perfomance, and safty? I want best of all the worlds without sacaficing drivability. Until we have confirmed results and user feedback regarding comments like drivability, my money stay in my pocket for all kits from all tuner. Unless
ralliart ecu come out with warrentee intacked, i'm there.

I'm glad you see it my way. Although I will not take my EVO on the track doing quarter mile runs often but It would be great to know that if someone(STI) is quicker in a straight line stock for stock, it would be great to know if spending $1500.00 kit which I know will be good(Vishnu Stage Zero) will be worth it i.e. beating a stock STI on a straight.

So, go out and make sure you will know how to launch your car so you can do it when you want it. I bet you that this kind of practice will give you so much more cars/people on you kill list than any StageX purchase!
And, of course, the best place to practice that is at the track!

Have fun!!

I just want to see some time slips. If someone owns an evo they should learn how to drive it
And if they really can't drive they should be thinking about some sort of driving school to make their cars faster rather than mods.
My opinion anyways.
