Hey, that looks cool. Those are exactly what I am thinking of getting. How much did the wheels cost you? And those are forged, right? Is your car lowered or is that with stock suspension? I used to have S03s in my GTI and loved them. Have fun.

well, the offset is +30mm...

There has been NO rubbing anywhere on the suspension components, or the fenders... i think if i were lower the front anymore, there may be cases where the tires would rub the fender on hard cornering where the suspension had to compress really hard...

The car is lowered with the Eibach ProKit for the EVO VII, VIII...

wheels are forged so they are lightwieght, yet very strong... but any wheels is going to fold to the wrath of a nasty pothole, so you just gotta be careful...

Stock rims will be mounted with winter tires for the nasty NE winters...

anyone that wants Volks should talk to ozrallyguy... he'll get you the best price out there...

Looks great Diesel....I like!

A few questions to you or anyone. Does volk sell the same wheel in the stock size (I don't plan to plus)?

Any ballpark on the price just for comparisons?

Does anyone else make a gunmetal/anthracite with polished rims for the EVO in the stock size?

Thanks for posting them...they do look great. I see you are PA but I assume you sent away for them?

i think Volk does make the wheel in 17", but i'm not sure if they have the proper offset in that size... i'm sure they do though...

for the 18's your looking at 2300-2700 are the price range out there, depending on dealer... that was including center cap, and i also got the Ray's lugs / locks... this also includes shipping... tires were about $825 for the set shipped from Tirerack...

Like i said, contact ozrallyguy... he can match prices...

any other questions...?
