I flew down to Baton Rouge, LA from Milwaukee, WI and drove her back in two days over 1200 miles from what I remember. It was a trip, but was wondering if anyone has done the same to buy an Evo (RS for that matter, I was looking for three years for the right one).

I also flew down to florida to get a 93Nissan Sentra Se-r that was mint<great car too and was worth it. Or maybe how far you traveled for some @$$. Whatever is more entertaining.

I flew to Memphis and drove back to Fargo....

 

like 20-25 minutes down the street > freeway > street...its less than 2 minutes down the street of my school (CSULB) so it didnt really matter. lol

I flew from PA to MA, about 360 miles one way, to purchase my EVO back in November of 2004. I tried to work a deal with the local mitsu dealers and even showed them the paperwork from the dealer in MA to let them know I was SERIOUS about buying. None of them would or could work with me so I had no choice.

I don't regret it one bit, I got my 04 WW GSR fully loaded with SS&L for $31,106 OTD including taxes, tags and all that other BS.

10 min, the nearest dealer was actually the only one in the area that had exactly what I was looking for. Got it less than a week after they released the IX's.
