Looking good! To keep up with the weight savings you are going for you should make the cage out of titanium... Mmm some nice tig welds on it...

I was in the same position as you when I turned 21, got a bunch of dough to use for school (not $250K though unfortunately), only needed like $50K of it to finish my last two years, and I'm keeping the rest for a downpayment on my first house. I used $1500 to supplement the down payment on my EVO IX along with my trade in, and that's about it.

But like the old saying goes "A fool and his money are soon parted"
