dsport and modified lie way too much and they print lies from owners of cares. I Like sport compact car the best.

I have seen this happen multiple times over multiple years with Turbo mag. Probably back as far as 2003 (or earlier) with the dark blue Supra with the mega-buck, mega-BHP turbo sticking through the hood. They have pretty good tech info from time to time, but their writing proficiency is at about the 6th grade level, plus the above mentioned wonky copy edit problems.

Of all the magazines referenced in this thread thus far, I think Banzai is the only one I haven't read. All I can say is that with the exception of Grassroots, Sport Compact Car is the only one worth reading on a repeat basis for both tech info and entertainment value. Stupor Street not only isn't even interesting anymore, I swear I can feel my IQ level dropping steeply as I read an issue. DSport, HCi and Modified Mag are alright I guess if you like a lot of pretentiousness and reading about nothing but featured cars (wow, they put a turbo, coilovers, big wheels and red paint on their car, get out of the city!). Plus Sport Compact Car loves themselves some Evos. I used to read a lot of British imported car mags, good stuff but after a while I kinda tune out because I know I can never have most of the tastiness they speak of.

So, this is my first post, BTW. Thanks for having me.

Turbo was the best mag in the late 90's but it has gone downhill and keeps getting skinnier, sport compact is prob the best all around, super street is too annoying
