i was recently tuned by turbotrix and the car has a ton more power. Very happy. Mods-hallman @22, 255 pump, licp, ams tbe with hfc, kn drop in, tune 335hp, 338tq

The only prob i have is with the a/c on the idle drops to about 500 then goes back to the normal 900 idle rpm when i step on the clutch while slowiing. what could be causing this? For ex. when pulling to a stop sign and im am in 3rd gear and then slow and step on the clutch to shift to 1st the idle drops down to 500 then settles back to 900. it doesnt stall though.

Also the car seemed to lose power below 2500 after the exhaust? Is this normal b/c it is a bigger 3" exhaust? I mean when i let go of the clutch while taking off slow from a stoplight the car doesnt feel like it had the same power as stock??

Does anyone know the answers?

 

try to go back to turbo trix and ask them to fix (increase) your idle a/c on trany in nuetral. see if that might do the trick.

 

yes ac does kill lots of HP. the bottom end of the power band before boost is really week with the ac on
