turbo timer e brake ground?

Do you NEED to ground it to the e brake. or can you just ground it anywhere in the car. i suppose the reason for it is so when you park and pull the brake up it gives ground to the unit to tell it to start timing.

It needs to be there to prevent someone from breaking in your car, while the TT is on, and driving it away.

also it's nice to make sure you don't get out of your car and forget to pull the ebrake up, and have it roll away.

+1, I have it so, if they put the ebrake down, the car just shuts off.

its also nice for when you drive up to gas station which most of us do quite often, and you want to shut the car off to fill up with gas
