I put a 2.5" buschur dp on my car the other night. I wrapped it with heat wrap and it appears to be just barely touching the front(towards the front of the car) lip of the oilpan. Is this going to be a problem even though it is wrapped? Should I space it down a little or dent it in 1/4' or so? I would hate to do either.....

A lot of people use the buschur 3" dp with no issues.....You have a 1/2" more clearence, I wouldnt worry about it?

 

Since it's wrapped, I wouldn't worry about it. Just check where it rubs from time to time. If it gets ugly (where it's rubbing), then just cut the pipe and reweld it adjusting the angle. Good Luck!
