I'm trying to avoid any yellowing/burning on my silver bumper as I just installed a TBE (testpipe). I was trying to avoid buying the carbon fiber shield or SS shield as I don't really like them and I can find better things to spend the money on.

Anyone try using clear helicopter tape? I know that it can withstand high amounts of heat....

 

You honestly rather put tape on your bumper than get a carbon overlay?

yup tried... I think the CF looks like ricey...sonic.... your evo actually comes with this tape around the mirrors
