on pinks all out, they have all the cars run as hard as they can a couple times, and they keep times for your car.
they put all the times on a bracket sheet, and they select one of those time brackets that they will compete. some times its 9 second cars, some times its 11 second cars. so you end up racing against a group of cars that are all within .5 or so of each other, so its fair.
then they have the top 16 or what ever going all out, and if you were sand bagging and run like more than 5mph faster trap, or like .4 or faster than the average they had you on time trials they eliminate you. advancing the guy that actually is in that time bracket.
then when they get to the top 8 or something if you win you get 1000 bucks. and then next round your supposed to nogociate with the person your racing how much you want to bet. so you both decide on a wager and the winner takes that and advances. once again if you to fast compared to what you've been running your out.
all the way to the finals, where you win 10k and sometimes a tool chest or what ever the sponsor is giving away that event.

NOTE : work on those shifts, one of the runs it seemed like you short shifted 2nd to 3rd gear, and also you could improve your shift speed too! (i hope you take this as constructive credism i greatly appreciate your post)

this only could happen in time trials, but if they actually picked your time bracket to race, you would be against cars that you could beat. they must not have picked your time bracket. cause they would have kicked that guy out for beating you by to much, unless he ran his best average time, and you completely screwed up your run. thats the only way you would lose that bad in the actual competition

that had to be a cool experience even though they didnt pick your time bracket. has the episode aired yet? cause i recently saw a pinks all out episode and saw a couple evo's i wonder if i saw you... cause they showed some of the time trials....
i was helpin explain for some people that didnt understand how it worked. now they all get it! cause some people think its not fair, and pinks trys to make it as fair as possible.
