All 4 tires spinning?

I'm not really wondering how my car specifically could do this but, its more of a curiosity question. What mods would I need in order to launch and make all the wheels spin? From what I assume, it would be less harsh on the clutch (clutch wouldn't slip as much).

not sure about the treadmarks, but you dont need anything except for launching your car... assuming your clutch holds, the more power you have the easier it is. sometimes my car even spins all four wheels in first gear (from a roll)

Hmm first of all I only have 5k miles on my ix and I'm replacing the clutch, the guy drained the transfer case fluid and tranny fluid and said I have the ware and tear of an evo with 30k miles...thus ill never drag my car again, I've only launched it about 10 times and the times when I droped the clutch and there wasn't the best traction...all 4 tires spun...it was sick as hell and its the best feeling in the world....when your tires spin out of the hole its actually kinda saving you from breaking something....so when they don't spin you better hope to god you slip that clutch right or hold your breath and hope something else gives.

The moral is...the evos aren't meant for dragging unless you have some serious money....take it road racing.

Any mods to increase power will help to allow you to soin wheels. You can also get cheaper tires and hyperinflate them, to loose grip.

I'm a bit over 400whp and can get some spin in 2nd gear, but with cheap tires, I can get them to break loose in 3rd while turning.

400whp 6500 rpm launch on the street, on the track youll probably break and axle.

you can sit and spin with that on the street....

and thats not what you wanna do....

spin = lose

put some narrow tires on your car, like some 185's, and you should be able to spin them

4 doughnuts come to mind. You can only spin for 65 miles before you have to replace them though.

I've been launching at around there with a lot more power and torque than that... on stock axles for awhile. They've been holding up fine so far... *crosses-fingers* ^_^

I do agree though, spinning is not a positive thing if you care about ET's.
