turns out the radiator and condensor where pushed into the turbo . . . so maybe a new turbo, haha I wish. Remember this is all coming out of pocket to fix the damn thing. Anyone know where to pick up a 20g-lt . . . that's in stock; I need it in a wek or 2

What is insurance for if you dont even use it? Can i ask why you dont wanna go throu insurance? From pics it really doesnt look that bad, but once you pull it apart you always find the real damage. Good thing your ok, it could of been alot worse lol.

Still funny thou haha.

Damn man, sorry to hear about that. I live one town over from Bridgewater. Always gotta keep an eye out for deer but lets face it, if they are gonna jump out there isn't much you can do.
On a side note, why don't you just go through insurance at this point? If its gonna be around 7k or more... Thats a ton of cash out of pocket. You'd be spending almost 1/3 the value of the car just to repair non-performance parts... Just a thought.

Because I did something stupid . . . here comes the flaming . .. mraw . .
I had 24 points that went away April 29 and so I got new insurance but it didn't start till June, after paying that I didn't want to pay for another 6 months of the old insurance too So I let it run out with only liability holding me for a month, more like 3 weeks. I took a chance and paid dearly, no pun intended. Either way I would have paid 6k for insurance or chance it. I guess I just had bad luck. either way time to get some new mods.

read earlier in the thread; The radiator and condenser are pushed back to the turbo, took out the upper Ic pipe, fans, radiator support (which is a big cost as it needs to be cut, alligned, and welded back), the bumper is toast and the head light is shot, have you looked at the price of an oem headlight, not just the housings ? all the plastic and little things behind the bumper to channel the air correctly.

here's a quick look at some of the costs, I'm trying to find a scanner to scan my estimate.

part..................................cost........ ....labor
bumper cover .................662.97.........1.4
upper grill........................108.08.........0.3
upper reinf........................49.97............x
upper support.................108.77............x
head light assembly......1384.12..........Incl
radiator support..............386.17..........7.2
AC service........................................... .1.4
Radiator...........................342.00......... Incl
Condenser......................202.00.........Incl
hood hinge 2 x .................60.00..........0.6
air vent grille....................225.52.........Incl

Hood, I'll probly go CF ......480.00........me
Fans, probably go with some spal fans 200 or so.

that's not all the small crap either or other labor + paint and waste removal.

So you can see how the cost starts to add up

Dude, Pick ebay apart for those parts. Headlights you can get off here cheap. If you are paying out of pocket for these stuff, then you need to buy the parts from fellow members and not the dealer. Save as much money as possible is they way I would do it. Good luck to you and your car, I hope the dear tasted good lord knows it was tenderized very well!
