About to spend some money, need your help

Ok, a while ago I bough a set of EBC slotted/dimpled rotors and Hawk HPS brakes.
And a carbonetics twin carbon clutch. Had them all installed and love/hate them all.
Heres why.
The brake rotor combo sqeals at very low speeds to stops. Enough that its embarrassing. They work fine, but the squeal has to go. I had my dealer do the brake install (a friend of mine works at the dealer, so I can trust him to work on my car) and he knows about the anti squeal inbetween the shims and so on. SO, even done the right way, they still squeal.
The clutch was done correctly, but the issue is normal. The noise it makes when you slow down while in gear is insane, and when idoling as well. And, if you idol with your foot on the clutch, its even worse. I have come to find out, with many months of investigating, that all the evoVIII 2004s and older do not come with an ACD Transfer case. And thats the reason for the noise, theres no way to fix it, so far. But the clutch is really great, you can feel the grab and eccel differences.

So, even tho everything is working fine, Im going to replace the rotors and brakes And replace the clutch back to a single disc.
I just need your opinion as to what brake/rotor combo is going to make no noise, and what single disc clutch set up to go with? The only thing Im looking for in a clutch is long life, and I dont launch it more then once a month at most.
Thanks all

Hold the phone, don't do all that just yet...I think that your brake squeal issue can be resolved with new shims:

http://girodisc.com/catalog/product_...roducts_id=218 (front)
http://girodisc.com/catalog/product_...roducts_id=219 (rear)

The clutch also might not be fully broken in yet. The decelerating noise is not a bad thing, and you didn't mention any bucking or stalls, so I would say keep it for another few hundred miles and report back if you are still having issues...Carbonetics builds a great clutch, most finds that I read are from satisfied customers...Maybe do a search for "Carbonetic clutch" on this forum and send out some PMs asking people who own it what they experienced early on...Hope I helped...

Well, the shims were installed new with the Hawk pads, and the anti squeal was also placed on the back of the pads, and on the shims, let dry, and then installed.
So, it might be the shims if they (people talking about shims on this forum) mean the organic OEM shims?

But yes, the clutch works great, 100% all the way around. Just that noise , it makes it sound like a diesel truck. I have checked with a few major tuners and they said theres no word on doing an ACD install yet. If one of them ever comes forward with news of being able to do it, I would.

you need some hi-temp grease for the brakes. apply it to the shim and anywhere there is metal to metal contact on the back of the pad

Yea, because every modded car I have ever seen sounds like crap and the brakes squeal, right, lol.
Look, im just looking for some opinions as to what to trade up for, not someone to give me grief, thanks.
