Monster flat panel air filter
Grounding Kit from our very own Fireball
Buschur 3" Turbo back cat delete
Sweet 95 octane nector

I have found that one of the best things one can do for performance is invest in an octane mix to get 95 or higher octane the computers fuzzy logic will adjust and really open up the potential of the car.

I don't know this is the first time. I am getting a reflash of the ECU with this set-up and I wanted a baseline with this set up and then I am going in with the Works reflash and see what the difference is. Maybe I dont know any better but from the day i got my Evo it has run like a bat out of hell it always felt very powerful then I added these simple mods and I stress high octane gas and the Evo just pulls like mad in every gear and the top end and from the stand still. after the ECU flash I plan to go to the track and see what the standing 1/4 mile is that should put some things into perspective.

I should get an endorsement from big oil because I can not stress enough how important high octane is to these cars. In Japan they run 96 octanes the Ralliart ECU requires 96 octane this tells me Mits and the Evo was meant for 96 and it likes I don’t run 96 I got my mixture at 95. I have tested this theory ran 92 for a couple weeks then ran 95 for a couple weeks and its night and day. This is with a stock ECU so it won't pull timing and it runs real smooth as safe as it gets.
