I think I was more concerned with having an Iowa license plate anywhere on my car... I bought this car to drive, not worry about when and if the next cop that sees my ginormous wing decides to give me crap over whatever he can find to knit-pick about.
I thoroughly understand that you bought this car to drive as most people who buy Evo's would tell you. I just think that this brings up the difference in some car enthusiasts. Some people just care about performance and do not care how they look getting their fix. Then there are those who want performance and care about vehicle looks as well. I am never worried when I drive by law enforcement because I know if they do pull me over the best they will get IS the front plate. I believe that their are certain vehicle codes and rules that can be continually broken or abused--having no front plate is one of them. Anyways, anyone who can afford an Evo can afford 1-2 $10 fix it tickets a year, if that. My .02.

Cops know you got an evo when they see it lol. you don't want to draw attention to your self any more than you need to. With my front, i am ziptieing it on there. End of story. Don't need any more issues in JERSEY

Like many others I don't want to attract any unnecessary attention from the boys, so I tossed out the hideous dealer frame and got a nice mount that's pretty much invisible.
