Future of the Evo?

I am happy to enjoy the current evo as we all should but as an enthusiast I am always interested in the future. That being said, I am interested to see if anyone has any information or theories concerning future evo models. Will we see a transmission change, ralliart support, rally goodies like the AYC, etc... In addition what is the time frame, in other words how long untill these changes will occur, if any? Thanx guys

*looks into his crystal ball*

I see Ralliart stuffs coming August-October 2003.

I see no major changes for the 2004 model.

I see 6 speed coming in the 2005 model.

I don't see us getting any ACD/AYC... ever.

I concurr with my learned brother Fireball, however I believe that in order to make the EVO 8 available in Canada the FMIC (in the Canadian version) will be moved to sit above the engine much like the STI.

6 Speed is a lock too. I'll be damned if I buy it though, 5 Spd is all I need.

I expect Ralliart parts to become Options on the Evo 8 towards the end of this year. Of course dealer mark-ups on the options will be a guarantee.

All I can say is I can't wait to see an Evo with Evolution X on the back........10 versions of Evo, making it the car with the most redesigns ever (I think).
