Yeah can someone help me?

Cause i suck at launching my car. Went to the local drag strip on friday night and basically made a fool of myself. THIS is the best i could manage to run. That was a 6k drop, any help on what i can do to improve is much appreciated. This was my first time at the track ever in any car.

Thx,

Kevin

Practice....you'll find what works best. I'm sure there may be hints out here but only practice will help you find the sweet spot.

your 60' isnt too bad so you probably need to work on your shifting technique some.

you look like u didnt go to redline and you shifted really slow. with you 60ft i ran a 13.9 (and thats even slow from what ive seen). you should practice on the streets/ highway so that when you go to the strip you dont get nervous and forget to shift properly and stuff. practice till its natural. no need to powershift, powershift if your racing for money or you racing an opponent, other wise your excessivley abusing your car for no reason. shiet drag racing it is abusing it enough.
