I must say though that i do it for the shear joy of performance.

 

I would have to say because I have the itch to tinker with my car. I don't think there is a shot for that.

Same here, even thought I don't even go to the track anymore. I don't even try to race people anymore. It's just nice to know.

 

It's anti-depression therapy Push it a little to get my heart pumping whenever I feel low (or slow). Thinking about the next mod also helps. At least for me, it's about getting the extra power that I can manage (or possibly I think I can manage) -- I want the thrill and not the chill. Viper itself stock is hard to manage.

Speak quietly but carry a big stick! All the ricers who paint their civics orange and other stupid colors and poke holes in their exhausts to make them fart when they accelerate love to run their mouths about how they can smoke people. I chose to not say anything and just listen to them tell me how they missed a shift or some other dumb excuse when they get smoked!

 

I don't consider myself a "street racer" by any means but this is definitely a big one for me. Even if the other guy doesn't know it, I like knowing that I have the capability to destroy him.

 

My dad owns a modded c5 vette.If I can mod to run equivilent with that Im good

Ehh, for me it's the addiction to power. The car starts to feel slow so like drugs are to addicts I need(want) something to make the car feel faster.

 

So true...I can't wait to get some more mods!
