well i always strive to be better or have better...its cheaper to buy aftermarket parts to make my car better...than it is to buy a better car...

 

few reasons:
1. Same reason we have sex: the feeling
2. bored so start modding
3. makes it more of "your" car then just another car
4. need for speed
5. knowing that a z06 sees the evo and knows not to **** with you
6. scaring the **** outta the gf by accelerating when she starts *****ing

 

same reason you mod your girlfriend.

lets go ahead and put on a bigger front end, bigger back end, fix that nose and i'll pick her up on thursday.

 

My goal of achieving (stock) EVO level performance in my 2gb DSM.






That and my insatiable need for speed.

Your answer is quite relative from vehicle to vehicle.

The reason I mod is the factory never seems to get it just right.

 

it is too civilzed out from factory. It is suppose to be a rally car, i try make it like that. So kind of like this:
No more then 400 whp ,lighter than factory,better and sharper handling overal./cornering braking etc/. Also i try get every mods more functional then for show.
this is my reason for modifying the Evo.

 

moding gives me a hard on, I fantasis about going so fast my wing makes me fly like an eagle high in the sky. some day I will reach that 380mile per hr mark and fly like an eagle i say,

 

The car represents you. You are different, so your car should be too...

Plus.... the car becomes mondane after having it the same for too long.
