Where to buy a decent drop-in filter?
Just like the title says.Ive looked on ebay and lancershop and seen a few of my options as far as an intake goes for me.Im still undecided so I figured why not just get a drop-in air filter and wait on a choice+save money. So where can I buy one online and whats the "best" filter to get?Just want to make sure I pick a good vendor or source.
For stock Turbo, just get a K&N drop in filter from www.summitracing.com

Yea usually Id stick to K&N but with the Evo I didnt know. Its still a new animal to me with different aftermarket support.I saw that HKS and Perrin also have a drop-in.Ill see a few more responses and probably end up going with summit

I have a Works filter and think it's great. I'm considering the Injen intake w/ ic pipes but I am just as confused with all of the info on here. I am almost wanting to do a before and after tune to compare the results. You can't go wrong with the Works or K&N. The K&N is cheaper. Same thing basically. I got good service from the works website.

We saw the same results on 3 different cars (2 Evo VIII's and 1 Evo IX). Data logs showed my air flow to increase 1.7lb/min which would be probably about a 10hp gain, in theory.

Grrrrr I hate how I have to pay to play
