I agree, it would have to include the tranny or else how can an engine be 5 speed or 6 speed?

The price is on the high side considering what they could be ordered for a few months ago. I believe there was a cut off date on the ordering. I have a few coming myself but have no intention of selling them. The price, even at $6,000 is cheap if you total what you are buying and what is included. The engines are complete including sensors, injectors etc.

I am going to put one into an old car (awd) I am planning on building. The other I will probably strip down and sell individually.

 

If you blow the motor, you'd be cheaper to bore it to a 2.3

That is, if the block is saveable

 

It probably comes with a flywheel.maybe clutch and pressure plate too.....that's why the difference between 5spd and 6 spd.

 

You don't bore a 2.3L, you stroke it with a crank.
