I finally got to drive one

So Im sitting at work friday night. When I see a red evo fly past us on santa monica going east. Im like because I have only seen two evos before this and they were parked. So about 30 seconds later I look to my left for a second and I see something red coming up to be parked, so my instincts tell me to run out and get this car . When I get a good look at it I see that it is the same evo that had passed by just a few seconds ago. At this point I am in shock The guy gets out of his car and says "so I take it your an evo fan too" and all I can do is . I tell him that this is going to be my first time driving one and he say" I hope you enjoy it." So I take the car around the block to park it in the structure but I pass it up and keep going down the street. First I check to see If the car has been broken in. It has 2560 mile on it so I figure it should be broken in by now. Thats when I lose it and just smash down the street. I flip a ***** and go back up and Im just loving every moment of it. My body has never felt the way it did that night. After about ten minutes I finally park the car. I leave it on because I saw that there was no turbo timer and Im just checking out every inch of the car. My supervisor sees me parking it and he says" where the hell did you go." I explain to him that it is my favorite car in the world and I just had to take the chance. My supervisor is cool so he say "okay I hope you enjoyed it because you cant anymore fast cars for the night." Im like okay thats fine and it ends. For the rest of the night I felt like . It was great. The only thing I didnt like was the turning radius. Makes it a little hard when flipping a *****.
I cant wait to buy one of these cars in the future.
I love that car and my job

when I brought his car back up he asked If I enjoyed it and he said yeah he said as long as nothing was wrong with the car then it was all good. I told him he should check out this site sometime. He was a really cool guy.

If it were my car "smashing down the street and flipping a *****" would qualify as stupid....not to mention the 10 minute joy ride. Maybe he wasn't broken in....maybe he didn't want his tires or brakes flipping *****es??

Would you want someone doing that to your EVO with 2650 miles on it?

I dunno d00d. In my book, taking a persons car out for a joyride without their permission or knowledge is pretty stupid....especially when you know that the person would NEVER give you permission to drive the car if you weren't parking it for him.

For the sake of your financial well being, you better hope that the Evo owner is not a member of this board. You could lose your job very quickly over that idiotic move.

Don't worry, I was wondering the same thing. I guess I'm not up on all this teenager lingo. I'm assuming it's the act of making a really hard u-turn? Someone help us out here.

Ahh I now understand which question I missed on my written/electronic part of my getting my drivers license. When presented with a sign showing a U with a circle around it with a slash across it, I chose it was a No U turn Sign. ahhhhhh. Man I should have studied harder to remember it was a No Turning like a dumb ***** sign.
