Thanks to member JBR_EVO who is in Norwalk today, he just called me and told me that AMS right after unloading the car from the trailer did 8.564 @168.6Mph!!!!

So congratulations to AMS for such impressive feat!!

 

Wow! I can't think of anything else to say, but Wow! Ok maybe a couple of other things I can say. Congrats AMS, truly awesome

 

That is 100% unreal!!! They dropped .4 over last year with a minimal mph change. I wonder what the car weighs right now? They said they took some weight out.....all I know is the shifting and 60' times must be awesome to drop that much time.

Holy crap! Hell of a run haha

 

They did drop some weight LOL, there was an issue first because the AMS car dropped one of the rear doors which tripped the other lane's photo-cell and marked a 8.4 time. It wasn't clear at first but then it was confirmed that the time for AMS was official. Their door is in deed faster than their car with 8.43 LOL
