ive been meaning to post this for a while but i keep forgetting. has anyone else noticed that the front fenders and hood feel different than the rest of the car when your drying it off. i know that they are aluminum but mine feel rougher than the rest of the car. it feels just like it hasnt been waxed and the rest of the car has. it beads up great when i wash it and ive even waxed these areas to see if it would help. have you noticed this??

 

Nope, my car doesn't have this issue. Check the paint on the hood and the fender, maybe the clear coat is not put on to those parts. You might want to show it to your dealer, it should be covered under the warrenty.
