I just got my car back and can afford to break away from work. I am planning on heading up to TN/NC with a friend or two, to hit the dragon in July, the 10 th thru the 13th. It's during the week, which should mean no crowds and minimal LEO's (weekends suck, as crowds slow you down). If your interested post here. I didn't get to run as much as I would have liked to last time around I would love to go again I love it up there. The wife didn't like the ride though we did miss you up there this time around the group needs a leader type person to get everybody together and going like you did last year.

 

dont forget to take pics for us west coast guys that never get to run the dragon....

 

I was really looking forward to coming up but couldn't make it due to business requirements, sorry I missed you guys. Hopefully you can come back up in November again, as I love it with all the leaves off the trees, you can see thru the curves that way. My car handles twice as good as it did last time from ROBISPEC"s excellent KW coilovers and tuning, plus I just upgraded my turbo to a FP Green, the thing is insane! I was already destroying 2006 vettes, now with the new turbo, injectors & tune from Billet Design, I should be able to chase down that pesky ZO6 @ the track with no problem.

Again, it would be great to cruise the gap with you (this time, maybe it won't rain).

I've been talking to some of my local buddies that are insterested too. July 10-13th may be a little soon, we were shooting for the end of July, but if you are making the trip up there, it may sway our decision.

Oh, and the big guy that came with me last time, finally broke down and bought an 05 EVO himself. I know he's interested.

Yep it's official, I'll be arriving Sunday in Kingston to unload my family @ the river house, then I plan on running up in Pitman gap, pigeon forge/ gatlinburg on Monday. we were thinking of running the Dragon on Wednesday Thursday, as to avoid all the traffic, but I'm flexible. I just ordered some 265/35/18 for my street tires and I'll bring my Nito Nt01's as alternates. I just had the FP Green installed w/ 720's, car pulls really hard in the mid & upper.
It would be great if you could make it, I'd love to run with you guys!
