This is when I got suspicious and decided to start checkin things out. i went to her profile and noticed that she was in fact on at that very moment. I refreshed her profile and saw that she was jumping around to "Evo 8 Wheels For Sale" threads... then going back to search results... then another For Sale thread. I clicked on every one she was in and loaded the attached pics of the wheels to new tabs in my browser....

Thats when I blocked her. She sent me in the e-mail the same wheels attached to that thread. Just figured I would blow the whistle. Wouldn't want anyone else to fall for this kind of trap.

Damn. That's twice I've almost been scammed for parts over the internet.

No prob man. That's why I NEVER post my AIM on forums.

Funny thing is she initially AIM'ed me a log time ago, back before I was even thinking about buying another evo. I hadn't posted on here in 4 years and she's all askin me if I want to buy parts.

Right after that, i removed my AIM from my profile so i didn't get any more unwanted solicitations.

Then she just randomly pops back up today and goes at it again. Only this time, i did want to buy parts, smelled fish, got curious and ended up busting a hack.

Lets this be a lesson, kiddies. Cover your *** like a ****. If anything seems even REMOTELY suspicious, do a little investigating.

Yup I can tell you about 3 other people that person tried on evom. They tried me right after a friend of mine. It was very obvious that it was a scam
