My Evo (car) Basement

I just got the c/f hood I was waiting for (not for my Evolution) so I figured I would snap a few pictures of the basement work in progress.

Thanks to Mike and Andy at www.addictsracing.com for the hook up on the hood

How dedicated to the Evolution are you?

Some pictures are at the bottom here......the rest can be viewed here:

Enjoy, Matt

Makes me wish I still had the limited print I used to have, I would have sent it to you for your room. It was a Champion spark plug print (poster sized) on thick glossy paper of James Dean and his mechanic working on his Spyder (not too long before his death). It was a really, really nice print. My mom worked for Dana (auto company) and she acquired one for me back in the 80's. I can't remember who I gave it to.

Nice room though! Very cool hangout...

You need a bigger television (maybe a projection screen) along with a high end surround sound system to truly appreciate the audio/visual experience.

Man Cave! lol I might have to put that on the basement door.

Thanks guys.....Yeah the plan is for a Flatscreen TV. The current one is a older 36" but when I actually saw it in the pictures I thought it looked pretty small......

When we did the basement the ceiling was also wired for surround speakers.....

I have my second child coming at the end of July so the rest has to wait.

Magneplanar (Magnapan Inc.)......I just moved those down from upstairs a few months ago.

My wife was out of town for the weekend (a few years ago) and came home to find those in the living room...I tried to convince here they are art. She hates how big they are so they are now in my "Man Cave"

Still work in progress
