Well guys were taking a evo mr with full bolt on from buschur to fl miami and back up to NJ.

We are started off on 6-29-07 at 4:27am.

We will be stoping at all kind of fun spots. We are hopping to have photos and videos for all you guys. Also will be posting thought the trip so please stay tune in for the new updated.

PS will be stoping at the street scene and also all shops we can get at so be ready for us were coming hard.

 

i drive my MR to and from SC from FL all the time... and i drive 30 miles to and from work everyday...i got 41000 on an 05

 

LOL i have no dout that the evo will make it there and back it just some people keep saying no it wont. So we made this thread for the shops that modded this car and to share are trip with every one else.

 

It shouldn't be a problem. There was a guy here that drove his 05 from Chicago to Florida then to Houston then back up to Chicago with no issues.

I drove my 05 VIII MR from Orlando to Seattle... Best road trip I ever took. The Evo will be just fine.

 

Well we had a slow start on needing gas. LOL since he has a gas card for sunoco and non open this early we said **** it and well fill up on the throway.

Its now 917am went 200miles so far hit 3 patches of traffic which killing are time and gas mileage. Even tho ever car we see that could be fast trying to mess around with hehe.

Also the MR has a sparco harness bar and i my self had to use it 3times now lol. Yes, im sitting in the back for this tank of gas. Its more or less fun i hold on and its like a roller coster ride hahah.

When we enter delawear we show unmarked ford mustang gt cop lol i guess they getting more seruis.

Also in the MR we have a in dash dvd player with xm radio.

 

I like this thread. Good luck with the trip...road trips are always a blast...especially in a fully worked evo. If your on i95...i love it, traffic flows perfect to drive hard with enough brake light warning of cops. Well good luck with everything and keep us posted. Throw up some pics if you get a chance.

No biggies, I drove mine from Miami back to Ohio with only stops for gas. Average about 95 mph. It's fine!! If you worry, chance the oil before and after.

 

Hahah! I really need to make that trip!

 

come during winter break or spring break and its so busy you cant sit down in the "happening" areas.

I drove from Ft lauderdale to west virginia 14 hours straight, we stopped for gas, food and #2's. 950 miles

Unfortunetly my greddy ebc died on the way there and i was boosting 30-34 pounds lol

We found a home depot and made a mbc and the trip continued

 

keep us in the loop man. Post some pics?? Did you tape up the front end or anything for all the bugs? I am going to make a trip from FL to WV stay for 5 days, then WV to Vegas. I'm looking forward to it. Although, it will be Dec/Jan. Hope dont run into any problems with snow. I will def be taking some chains with me in case i have to throw them on the EVo.

i drove from orlando fl to ny..and ny to va....if your car is well maintained.it will make it there no prob..bring tools in case

 

The only reason it won't make it will be because of driver error or a lack of proper install and tune for parts.
