the used prices are cheaper, as far as i know. i think most skylines and evo's are still about the 25000-45000 dollar range new. and gjhsu, all those pics in that directory you listed as R-32's are R-33's . and was that first skyline in the directory the newer GT-S 4 door? i think it should just have the standard nissan badge at the front, and not the big GTR. did you hit the Wangan after dark? didn't happen to see any of the Amemiya RX-7s, did ya? those things are siiiiick.

Going off-topic but.... there's a limited edition Spec C? I thought the Spec C's were limited by themselves? And why red and blue... I think black on an STi would look much better....

Edit: Hey I checked out the link and you're right... there are only 1000 of them in Japan so that must've been a pretty rare picture if it's a bona fide Spec C!

Even if the car prices are cheaper, the cost of ownership is higher. They have to pay various types of tax and license fees. They also have to have proof of a parking space for the car before they buy the car. They go so far as to check the dimensions of the space to make sure what you're buying actually fits the space it's supposed to go in, too. And AFIAK, parking there aint cheap, at least in the cities.

That car may be a Lancer Evo I (GSR) or a Lancer GSR (1.8L turbo AWD).

Funny thing, we went to actually just walk around and enjoy Odaiba, but they coincidentally had the B4 demo. I knew nothing of it.

As for the Spec-C, it is a Limited, and they plan to have 1000 made, but as of this moment in time, there are only 10 out.

xjapx - sorry about the SNAFU on the names, I get all confused on cars I don't normally see I didn't get a chance to hit up the Wangan because 1) I have no idea where that is, hehe, and 2) by the end of the day my feet hurt so bad and I was pretty damn tired. And no on that RX-7, though there were quite a few Initial-Dish yellow RX-7s

I spy an old school Mini! Rawk on! I have one of those!

btw, the pic you have labeled as a Kit car, is actually a Lotus Super Seven or a Caterham derivitive. I'm leaning towards it being a Caterham because I think I see a motorcycle exhaust system.

SC~
