I use both, but I don't put any weight on the tranny, it's not good for any car.

not really because the turbo timer is still running and then i'd have to wait for that to shut off b4 i put it in gear to leave it like that... but on hills i do leave it in gear and usually just manually turn the turbo timer off....

I have a bad experience with this.... i had a Honda Prelude that we converted from an automatic to a Manual..... however it still had the automatic start...

i traded cars with my friend's dad and he had parked it at his house right behind his MINT PERFECT cyclone..... well we were in the garage, and it was a bit chilly outside.... so i auto-started it from inside the garage and all we heard was a SMASH.... we both looked at each other and... he was like...um... did u just start ur car/... and of course i was just like yea...

he's liike...... why would you do that... its in Gear?

Lord that was not fun.. when the autostart started it.. it jolted frwd b/c it was in gear... and left a pretty little dent on his PERFECT CUSTOM PAINT...

just b/c of that.. leaving the car in gear is not my thing =(

i dont use the e brake because it will weld itself to the inside of the rotor
so its always in gear

(my brakes get hot?)
