Help with some advice!!

Hey guys, i've been thinking of upgrading my exhaust manifold recently but i'm not sure which brand to pick and if it's even worth changing. A long time ago, pre evo times, i was told to never replace the headers on a turbo car. I'm not entirely sure if thats a good advice or not, but if replacing them with an after market brand is a no no then how about maybe a port and polish? Also i tried looking for a thread that had reviews on all the different types of headers available for the evo but didn't find one, can you guys give me some brands? There might be some i haven't checked up on yet... thanx for your help guys!!

oh P.S. which brand are these??

A lot of manifolds you see are custom manifolds. It all depends on what turbo you're running. The manifolds for the stock turbo are JIC, DC Sports, AMS, Invidia, Megan, DNP, Hafe, etc.

You won't see a big gain. I think the longer tubes help with quicker spool. I personally wouldn't buy a high dollar mani for a stock turbo.

Do you want to look pretty? If so then the coating will cost you the majority of the money. SBR charges $40 to port the stock mani. I am not 100% if thats gasket matching but I would assume so but don't quote me

I doubt that it's gasket matched. That's alot of work. Well, who ever you use, measure it before you send it out to get ported. Then measure it when you get it back. The ones I've seen had almost 1/16" of material taken out of them. What a waste of money.
