the ported one works great, just seemed like you were looking for a tubular style.

you have a few options with the ported area as well. You can call PPI and send them yours and they will do it, they do a great job, and they remove a lot of material. You could go the Buschur route, pay them for a core charge up front, and have no downtime on the swap and send them yours when you are done. Lots of ways to go. Im sure there are others, those just seem to be the most popular

So Vigman, is your Evo IX a USDM model or a Latin American Market version? Does your car have the factory anti-lag system?

As far as I know, there is no "Latin American Model", at least in Mexico... ECU says USDM and there is no anti-lag used on European models...
Hope 2 answer your question!

i had an ebay manifold on my evo for a year and a half running 30 psi on meth and i dont have my rain vent in either....never cracked.... and i paid 75 shipped for it....

i guess its just a hit or miss with tubular manifolds...

and what really pisses me off is now i have a buschur turbo kit with the cast manifold and the cast manifold cracked...haha how gay is that...

IF i had 1K sitting around i would go for the Full race

Other than that, i'd stick with porting and coating the stocker

So is someone happy with his aftermarket manifold?
I want to change mine on my IX MR and I will appreciate your help to choose wich one! (plan to mount 3" Perrin full line exhaust 2)
I read about DC Sports, Borla, Invidia, Megan and it seems that some does not fit on MIVEC engine and almost any model will crack after a while...
Could someone tell me about his choice and results over the time?
Thanx 2 all.
We sell a quality replacement manifold for the stock turbo and have very good results. We've had a couple of Evo 9 that ran 11.80's with our manifold (and the usual bolt-on's) here in Hot Arizona, trapping around 116mph.

Here's some more info on our product.

A customer in NY just installed it and got 350whp on it on 22psi/93 octane. BTW, we have a free-replacment warranty on our manifold against "natural" cracking If someone puts a hammer to it and beat it, then of course, that's not covered ... Do'h!

cheers.
