Seeing an evo is so rare I have to usually double-take even though im driving one...wtf was that...

 

Yea Im not asian (Im Sicilian) but the one driver who didnt acknowledge me was

 

The whole point is that they are relatively rare, and most owners are die hard enthusiasts like we are! I get excited whenever I see an evo. I even show respect for some "fakers" locally. One guy has an awesome Evo VII body kit on his lancer. I simply hate people who are too good to acknowledge you when you try to give them the thumbs up! I've even exchanged the deuce with some M3's and a Ferarri Testerosa. The worst ones seem to be the STI's, S2000's, and of course the SRT4's!

Yeah its like when bikers pass each other, they wave. Its cool, like an exclusive club or something. We're taking over!

 

I always try to say wuts up to other evos most of the time I get ignored lol. The STi and srt4 guys always wave back or thumbs up which I think is awesome. The Evo guys here in SA seem to be jerks...well the ones I have said whats up to.

 

I've always gave a wave to fellow evo's driver, just like when im riding my motorcycle.

 

there are a few EVO owners in my area......

when I was a kid my dad had a 89 Jeep C-j7 (or something).... Everytime another jeep drove by my dad would wave..... sometimes yell out the window ... " Good Taste!! ".....LOL

I was leaving the mall yesterday and saw an MR so naturally I was staring and he waved and I gave a thumbs up while veering to the left towards a CTS lol.

 

Got the deuce from an NSX the other day. That was pretty cool. It seems like only a few Evo owners around here will acknowlege another owner.

 

I actually prefer to shake my fist in the air at other evo drivers. If I'm on a straight road I bust out gang signs, EC, WC, Bloods, etc.

 

I definitely nod... why not?

 

i get dirty looks from sti drivers then we battle in traffic... its usually a very fun encounter but i have seen few evos and yes i do get the hello nod too..
