It's only been a month and car only has 1600 miles so only maintenance I've done is washing every week, using Maguires quick detailer when needed and waxed twice so far. I plan on following the Mitsubishi regular/severe maintenance schedule, using whatever chemicals/parts they recommend.

You guys got me thinking, I am about 700 miles from 15K. still under warranty. they have the 15K check up for 299. but i don't know if that is worth it. I usually go to Firestone. Maybe I will just go there and get my oil change, tire rotation, ...anything else? Tires are looking crummy so I know i am gonna need them now. Wonderful.

Not when you've seen as many TC's die as me. Ask GEARS (TRE) about it even.. Every 5k miles isn't that bad and it always comes out black as night (at least in the TC). I'll put the sludge in a container and ship it to you if you want.

Yea man TC comes out nasty somtimes worse than others. The rear diff is always nice and clean though. Like I said Ill continue to change mine at 6k thank you.

That 60 bucks a year for fluid for 2 cars is well worth it
