if they were white that means you are running lean.my mass air went on my car yestreday causing my car to run like crap i could barely make it to the shop...pulled the plugs and they were white(lean)thought i had a bad fuel pump but it was a bad mass air...what did u gap them to???

You more than likley had a misfire that is why the CEL came on. As far as the plugs being red, have you been running any fuel additives?

Ohh and unless you are really heavily modded I would run brp8es gapped to around .024-.026 See my sig that is the power that i am making and those are the plugs that i run.
