Question 2.5L...?

heres a question.
does anyone think that mitsubishi will ever make a 2.5 evo?
i see a nice little hp tugowar in the US.

Impreza...Impreza WRX...Impreza ST!

Lancer...Lancer EVO I-VIII...?...

going by that logic, mitsu would make a less powerful version of evo 8. My $.02

I think mitsubishi will stay true to the rally heritage of the car and keep it 2 liters unlike those Subaru *****es...the STi is too soft a car to compete with the evo now...

It really seems like Subaru has softened the car a little too much for our market judging by all of the technical probs many of the Sti guys are having...

I doubt Mitsubishi will feel the need to spend millions on a new engine for the EVO when it continues to win just about every comparison test over the STi...

I am wondering if the technical issues their having are similar to the few (but vocal) issues that some of our guys have had with their new evo's.. I did read a few things on the STi having some detonation issues and other minor issues that could effect their ability to easily modify the cars which actually really surprises me.. I would like to see a little more stroke and/or displacement in my evo (or the next generation) the car definitely could use a little more torque at the low end where your not producing max boost.
