So my GF calls me last night saying she smells antifreeze in the RS. I made sure she checked all of her levels and no puddle under the car.

This morning on her way to work she says there is white smoke coming through the vents. Ok Im on my way left work and get to her job. Inspect the car as soon as I opened the door I knew it

ITS THE HEATER CORE. Sure enough the carpet is a little damp with coolant. Car never got hot or lost much coolant. Thankfully she knows enough to notice a problem.

I call mitsu basically to order a core but to my suprise they said they will warrenty it 100%. Ive been buying parts there for a long time and know the parts/service guy.

I bring it there. Tech checks it out keeping me informed and near his side step by step. Yup heater core is leaking. We will take care of it for you sir 100%. Tech insures me your car GF's car will be well taken care of and treated as it was his own. (Which really as much crap as I have talked about mitsu over the years made me feel great).

We will have the car back at 100% next week.

Her car has 44k on it pretty much bone stock except for cosmetics
