has your center console ever peeled?

Got in my car leaving work yesterday, looked like some kind of bubble on the center console (silver part) and wiped it and it started to crumble apart. Very large area by the front of the console. Nothing spilled on it what so ever. I was livid. Looks like I have to get to Mitsu to try and get it warrantied. I was avoiding my 299 15K check up but at this point it might be worth it to go to them.

Id be worried considering you have mods.I havent been to the dealer since I bought my car used a few months ago and I dont plan on it unless its mandatory.Too many horror stories of them voiding warranties.

last time i was at my dealership i had everything i have now except the TBE....they told me that it was fine to do a TBE ... BUT...they did not want to see it coming in with any codes.

they told me no BOVs whatsoever because that is instant void. But as for minor things such as exhaust and intake filter i am fine.

And they can't void the warranty on a crummy center console saying it was due to my exhaust...well, i hope not lol lol

Why dont you just take it apart and bring the piece itself in.
