IAC issues

how many people have had to change the IAC motor? Crazy - I had to change mine twice.

can anyone please show how to remove the damn thing and check?
I searched and can;t find anything in the posts

To check: Put a stethoscope on the IAC motor and have someone turn the ignition on but not to start. You should hear the IAC motor run. There are electrical checks you can do but no noise usually means the motor is shot.

To remove: Unplug the electrical connector and remove the three little screws or bolts. There is an o-ring between the IAC and the throttle body that likes to disappear into the engine bay. Don't lose it.

Forgot to add, the check for IAC motor operation needs to be done on a cold engine.
