Trading my Evo IX for highly modded Evo IX

I am thinking about trading my evo for another evo. Good Idea. Mine has TBE intake BOV and ecu flash, the one im trying to trade is almost 800 WHP. I love my car but just not as fast as i want but i still need a daily driver. not sure what to do.

Ohh man is this a clean trade?? If so i would act with caution as they probly have alot of money invested in it and to let it go for just a trade sounds odd... Unless u r handing out cash.

The biggest thing is, find out everything u can, who built it, what parts were used, and who tuned it. But its obvious u r getting a car that was abused so its just a matter of was it built properly to handle the abuse.

Do you know the owner of the car very well? Or the reason why he/she is selling the car? You have to be careful about the condition of the vehicle. Personally I would recommend keeping yours and modifying it accordingly, since you will know every part that went into the car. But if your car is beat and trading it is a major upgrade...then do it.

an 800 HP daily driver? wow !
keep your Evo and mod it your self, and enjoy the change mod after mod, till you reach your goals with your hard earned money, and u'll be proud of it, better than picking up another dudes work.

Are you familiar with working on evos...or have a shop that you trust. If something was to break or go wrong with the beast it could be expensive...And WARRANTY DEFINATELY VOIDED....lol.

The reason I say keep yours is you know what and how every piece of mod you do to the car...so quality control is higher versus buying from someone else.

As tempting as it sounds, I would not do it.
It also depends on how much money he wants on top of your car.
That amount might be enough for you to just give yours 450-500 horsepower.

I think it will be much more of a headache then you think. What mods does this thing have...please tell me has a shep/tre tranny and t-case in it.

But as the old saying goes....When in Rome...Et tu Brute.

my dad is helping me lol

800 whp is not meant to be daily driven

the car you are talking about is a sweet car but not to drive every day

and I have a feeling you have not a clue how incredibly fast that car actually would be...driving it on the street would be dangerous and boring
