How about this 03 Evo? Good deal?

I have been test driving used Evos lately. This is one of the cleanest I have come across but ran out of time to drive it.

Year: 03

Miles: 42,519

Asking Price: $22,895

Any thoughts? Thanks!

That's almost trade-in value after tax break.

But that one you posted is 100% stock it appears (while most are not), so yeah, 22.9 is WAY too high. But go see it and offer 20k and see what they'll do.

yeah, they're hitting you up for way too much, espc. with tax/tag/title fees. i paid 19k for my 03 stock w/ 47k miles. bought it from a private seller on the market place here. you're better off going with some of the people who said they're closer to you + mods on the car. just my $.02

Thank you all for the helpful comments. Taking a quick look at some online financing options I notice the rates are a bit higher for a private party sale vs. a used car dealer sale for whatever reason which is a bit of a bummer. I have paid cash before with private party sales but would need to finance the Evo. I'm really looking for a stock EVO that would be a very reliable daily driver but still alot of fun.
