try getting used quality tbe from sale section. I own ebay catback with dc sports downpipe/cat del. I should've bought used catback but i went for ebay. Had for about 8 months with no problem with rust. Going to change when i get my jdm rear later on.
Ebay tbe is around $300 shipped now. I think you can get decent catback for less than 300(megan and helix should be in that price range)
Also watch out for some catback with almost 90 degree angle.

I've had an Ebay exhaust for over 2 years. Still sounds great, looks good, even through 2 Chicago winters.

Just because we have a $30k car, doesn't mean we have to spend money stupid either.

People like you just make me laugh. Big name companies that make the same exhaust as the ebay stuff with their name on it will sell it to you for $400-$500 more . Thank you for supporting those people. I bought my ebay tbe with new gaskets and bolts for $280 shipped to my door with insurance. Here is a video from my trip to mexico when the car was bone stock except for exhaust.

Have you considered the buschur racing full turbo back exhaust for $825 shipped? They have sound clips on their website. Just a suggestion.

Hehe...most of my performance mods altogether were cheaper than $825.

Here is a clip of my exhaust (red Evo)

um shiv just put tuned and Evo9 for a guy with an ebay exhaust and something else (drop in filter or a mbc maybe), i think this was in NJ, and the guy put down 330 whp on a dynojet...this thread was pretty recent so just search...i believe 3 inch is 3 inch, the less bends the more power, the less weight the more power...the last two points are the differences in exhaust performacen (pending they are all SS)

yeah, that was me. just be aware that the seller of the ebay exhaust continuously changes names. for a while, it was ssautochrome, then xs_power, now i think it's nissangtrpower or something to that effect.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=266588

that was when i had the exhaust first put on the car. seller was xs_power, got 24.2 whp gain (with a high flow cat on), and i believe that the material quality should last you a good long time. i say all of this in the past tense because i have a perrin exhaust now to fit my diffuser, so i can't really tell you if it will last you 10 years or not.

it was a bit too loud for me on the highway, hit the frequencies that made my head hurt. it also seemed too low. BUT you may not get the same impression. i mean, $300 shipped for a DP, TP, CBE - no one can touch that new, and you probably aren't going to get all of those items used for that price either.

oh yeah, i would send you a vid but the audio quality is terrible. like every other dyno vid out there. that and evo exhausts have fairly simiar tonal qualities with loudness being the primary difference.

Yep when I was on DSM forums I head a lot of bad stuff about ssautochrome, thier turbo kits, and manifolds, but I heard their exhausts aren't too bad.
