I said I would never sell the EVO but....
Yes, you should definately come out to Milwaukee for a SOLO event. Sept. 8th & 9th are the next two. Then the last one is oct. 14th. If not your new car, still bring your old one. (Wait, you still got that right?) It would be cool to see you out there. Congrats again Trev!
Also, if you got anymore pictures, PLEASE post em!

I missed this topic Trevor or I would have posted in it sooner.
As I have said to you, I couldn't be happier with the deal we made and I am very glad the car is going to you. There's nobody I'd honestly rather see take it over.
We've updated the turbo for next weeks event and I installed twin fuel pumps in the fuel cell. Everything's ready and I'll probably put the car on the dyno tomorrow to go over it and adjust for the twin pumps. Any horsepower level needed should be attainable now, last time out we had to shut it off at just over 500 whp on our dyno because we were running out of fuel pump
You're gonna love it.
Someone asked why I am selling the car. First the reason I built the car was for the coverage I was hoping it would bring to the shop. Last year there were a ton of Time Attacks and events on this side of the country. This year there has been nothing "close" to us and honestly I am not willing to travel 10+ hours one way anymore to race. I've done the living on the road to race and being away from home and when I had no family it was great. Now I'd rather honestly be home. One weekend here and there is OK or if I can drive, race and get back in a weekend a lot of weekends are fine. I am just not willing to travel as needed to race this car. The last time we had the car out was September 2006, it sat until two weeks ago when Robert and I ran the Grassroots UTCC down in southern Virginia. That trip cost me over $25,000 to make..........long story but more reasons to be done. We did really well with the car last year even on the Green turbo we were running. This year the car is much better set up, has 100+ more whp and should be competitive anywhere it runs. Robert is coming to go with Trevor to Mid Ohio next week to get a little track time before the NASA Nationals. Robert is going to run the Nationals in it as our (Robert and mine) last race together with this particular car. I'd like to go out with a win, we'll see. Oh, the other reason I am selling it is I do have too many projects. It is impossible to keep up with them all. I'm a car nut and have buried myself in cars/trucks. It is time to sell some off. I have 3 others for sale right now, it has just gotten out of hand....
After the Nationals the car is coming back to us one more time to go to the body shop and have it touched up anywhere needed, then off to the new PROUD owner.
Trevor and I have worked out a sponsorship with the car. Our name is going to remain on the car and we will continue to support the car and Trevor. Looking forward to seeing him doing some Time Attacks with it, look out when he does!
Also, for those mentioning winning the money back in Time Attacks, good luck with that. We won a few and got nothing more than a trophy. VERY expensive sport and without the proper magazine coverage for a shop, which is what we had hoped for, it is even more expensive. Plan to use up $3,000 in tires in a weekend if you are shooting for the number one spot, $300 in fuel, then you have travel expenses, hotels, meals etc. I think drag racing could quite possibly be cheaper!haha
Congrats again Trevor and I still think I am getting the better deal.
