Talking Got a new wing under warranty - should I clear bra it?

I saw that another Evom member had done this. What's the consensus on clear bra on top of the CF wing to keep the coating from "delaminating" again?

I have to park my Evo outside at night for now, and I live near the beach = moisture will sit on it for hours.

Comments?

BTW, BIG THANKS to Huntington Beach Mitsu for the great warranty service without any hassles at all!

No-brainer. As long as the film has UV protectant (most do).

I use Klasse AIO which is a synthetic sealant on my Evo (wing included), along with a layer of P21S carnuba.

Here's where I get most of my stuff from:

Klasse is great.. lasts abouts 6 months. You can still see water beading. Anyway, I used Klasse and P21S on my E46 M3 with great results. Paint looked brand new when I sold it. Now using it on the Evo (after 7 hours of Porter-cabling Mitsu's bad paint), and the car looks great.

I like Klasse AIO, but you can find something else that will work better. The All in One is a polisher, sealant and cleaner all in one. You need more of a dedicated sealant/ glaze. Klasse makes one, the High Gloss Sealant Glaze, but I would recommend Meguiars #20 Sealant Glaze because you should be able to find this locally and it will do what you want. Just top it with your favorite wax every two or three weeks and redo the sealant every month or so.

True about the polish... but I use the AIO for just the sealant properties. In other words, I apply by hand, not machine. The Klasse glaze is good stuff as well, but I don't use it much due to the long curing time.

As for polish, I prefer Poorboys because I can use it under the sun with the PC.

BTW, to the OP... don't forget to clay bar and wash before applying any kind of sealant.
