I was changing out my fuel pump yesterday done this many times before btw. Everything went fine install smooth no problems. When i did it i had a 1/4 of gas. Well rode around on that for about 2 days then went to fill the car up.........well when i went to fill car up smelt a strong smell of raw gas. No big deal just thought i overfilled tank...NO not the situation i get back to my house have a puddle of fuel underneath my car take back seat out and the cover and looks like leak is coming from around top of fuel assembly anyone else have that problem.....all the notches were lined up and everything im just mind boggled about it and kind of scared to fill car up now hahaha to find out if it leaks anymore any advice would be great.....Thanks

Isn't there a rubber seal that you could change?

 

yah i would say checkk the seal

 

+1 on checking the seal
without one , or reinstallled improperly, you would get your leak
