Ok guys I was planning on saving in to the end of September, approximately $5000 for the down payment on a use evo. I do prefer a 05 or 06 but i came across this 03 last night. Not too happy about the interior color but it could always be replace or repainted. The car is heavily modified. what do you guys think? Should I just save my money and get a white non-modified 05/06ssl gsr?

Don't buy, save yourself the headache.

 

Run don't walk from that one. I would go with a stock or slightly modded 06 over a a modded 03.

 

I suggest looking around on the forums for one

Agree that the interior looks craptastic with the blue paint and I really hate that color.

If you are really serious about it. Take it a independent Shop to have it inspected. They will tell you the condition and what is needed in writing. They'll even tell you what think is worth.

The car doesn't even have cosmetic mods though, and all that crap listed won't cost 17k.
